This year, Celona is taking private 5G from experiment to essential infrastructure, powering industrial sites, AI factories and data centers at scale.

At Mobility Field Day 2026, Celona co-founder and CTO Mehmet Yavuz shared how private cellular has moved from experiment to large-scale operations, pointing to Celona customer results like Cargill’s multi-site rollout and Mariana Minerals’ four-week deployment across a 400-acre mine. He also highlighted how Celona’s private 5G is expanding into AI factories and data centers, keeping teams connected through interference that cripples Wi-Fi.

Positioning private 5G as a complement to Wi-Fi rather than a replacement, Mehmet previewed what’s next from Celona, including the AP20 dual-mode access point, an edgeless core architecture and agentic AI operations, all designed to make private cellular as easy to manage as a traditional LAN.
