Industrial OT Demo

Live demo: real-time OT sensor monitoring and safety alerts over industrial 5G.

By Team Celona · August 21, 2026

This demo connects OT devices, not typical IT gear, to Celona's industrial 5G network: C1D2-rated sensors, oxygen and H2S monitors, and automation systems built for platforms like Rockwell and Honeywell.

A Bluetooth-connected gas monitor sends live oxygen-level data to the cloud in real time. When oxygen drops, the alert appears instantly with location, enabling faster help in a hazard zone where workers today have no connectivity and must rely on their own awareness. A second sensor also enables live two-way voice communication with a control room.

Result: real-time monitoring, threshold-based alerting, and the potential for AI-assisted safety guidance (like navigation for new workers in large industrial sites), replacing a status quo where hazard detection depends entirely on the person on the ground.
