Celona Split RAN
Expanding the Celona cellular radio portfolio for high-power use cases and global spectrum with Rakuten Symphony
Talk to an expert Learn more about Rakuten Symphony
The Celona + Rakuten Symphony split RAN solution adheres to O-RAN split 7.2 architecture, separating the radio from the software that controls it. Radios go where coverage is needed; the CU/DU runs centrally on standard servers— supporting a broad portfolio of radio unit (RU) vendors supporting global spectrums and features.
This enables the use of high-powered MIMO radios that can cover an entire mine, port, or service area. The Rakuten Symphony CU/DU integrates into Celona EdgeOS and Orchestrator AI, delivering all the enterprise benefits of the Celona 5G LAN solution.

CU/DU software
